Impeach Big Brother

The balance between security and individual liberty has been defined: it is called the Bill of Rights.

If this balance needs to be altered, only the people have the right to alter it.

Edward Snowden knows this.

Snowden knows that the trampling of our Fourth Amendment rights by the government is unconstitutional and illegitimate. It is illegitimate because the people have not sanctioned the surrender of their Fourth Amendment rights.

It is up to the people, not the regime, to alter the balance between security and individual liberty.

The ubiquitous Ministry of Propaganda, known as the US media, would have you believe that a benevolent government is storing our personal papers for our own good; that Americans are not the “target” of searches; and that because we are not the “target,” unconstitutional searches are acceptable. Does anyone actually believe this?

Edward Snowden did the only thing a moral, courageous American could do: he exposed government criminality.

It is now up to us to force the regime to respect our Bill of Rights.
