Perkins ice cream social marks 41st edition Sunday

The 41st Ice Cream Social at the historic Perkins house in Colfax will be Sunday, June 30, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Whitman County Historical Society hosts the social which will include food, ice cream, homemade pie, music and a vintage fashion show.

The purpose of the social is to raise money for historical society projects that include maintenance of the Perkins house and property.

Barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs provided by Dave Peterson of Boyer Marina and Park will be available, as well as a selection of pies, lemonade and ice cream from WSU’s Ferdinand’s will be on sale.
