Art studio opens in Colfax

At upper left, from left to right, Colfax Chamber of Commerce Secretary Kathy Clark, Hailey Ring, studio owner Lannette Ring and chamber president Debi Anderson Saturday celebrated the opening of Ring’s new business, Abundant Faith Studio, at 117 1/2 S. Main Street in Colfax, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Above and at left, her artwork was displayed around the studio and also is on display at Events on Main in Colfax.

She also offers art classes for children, age five and older, and for adults now through July 18.

Hailey assists with the children’s art classes.

The classes include ‘Bloom,’ a mixed media adult art class; ‘Flower Power’ for children ages 9 to 12; ‘Patriotic,” for ages 13 and older; ‘You’re a Hoot,’ for ages 5 to 8; ‘Home Sweet Home,’ for adults, ‘You’re a Hoot,’ for ages 9 to 12 and ‘Picture Book Decor’ for adults.

All supplies are included, except for the last class when students must bring six pictures for the project, and costs range from $15 to $30.

Ring said almost all the classes are full, but she may add more classes if there’s enough interest.
