Endicott

The Winona Reunion at the Endicott School June 8 was attended by 25 past and present residents.

Summer has arrived in Endicott and the library has started the Summer Reading Program. “Dig into Reading” is the 2013 theme of the program. Anyone interested can contact the Branch Manager Tia Langston.

A memorial was Saturday, June 8, for Jack Thompson, a long-time Endicott resident. Pastor Fred Tribble of the Community Bible Church conducted the memorial at one of the town parks.

Friday, June 7, a memorial service was held for Ron Garrett, an Endicott farmer. Pastor Phil Misner of the Trinity Lutheran Church conducted the service. The church was filled with family and friends. A dessert and coffee hour followed in the fellowship room.

Willy and Anne Lowe hosted their daughter Dee and husband Doug Hill the week of June 1-9. They were getting ready for the wedding in Green Hollow of their grandson and son, Marcus Hill, to Jamie Aldrich June 7 and reception, in Moscow June 8.

The Community Calendar is getting ready for publishing and information for the calendar will be received until June 15.
