Cross Country to perform at Selbu Church Sunday

Cross Country musical group will bring the message in song for the morning worship service at Selbu Lutheran Church Sunday, April 28, at 10 a.m.

Susan Russell, Portland; Tina Ochs, Palouse, and Lynn Nelson, Colfax, visited with Dale and Vicki Broeckel last Thursday on their return trip from lunch at Pataha Flour Mill in Pomeroy. Susan gifted Vicki with her latest piece of art work. Susan was in Colfax to plan the 50th class reunion for Colfax High School’s class of 1963 scheduled for June.

Thirteen ditch cleaners from the Country Bible Church did their civic duty on Thursday for the Adopt a Highway project.

Women of the First Baptist Church in Yakima held a retreat at the Parsonage Bed and Breakfast Thursday through Saturday.

Lucky and Joan Myrick and Larry Brink attended the memorial services for their uncle, Kenneth Brink, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent last Friday.

Di Brink and Mike Stine visited their sister, Carol Keeney of LaCrosse, last Sunday at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. She was recovering from surgery and went home the following day.

Linda Hennigar and Diane Monson attended the Palouse Choral Society concert at the University of Idaho in Moscow Sunday afternoon. They presented Hayden’s “The Creation.” Several former members of the Tapestry group were among the performers.
