This project provided for the replacement of the Zarbach Bridge with a 24 foot wide, 24 foot long prestressed concrete superstructure on a steel substructure for a total cost of $117,775.55.

The Whitman County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in their Chambers, Whitman County Courthouse, Colfax, Washington.

The purpose of the hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and to receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low and moderate income persons residing in the Whitman County area.

Up to $95,209.00 will be available in 2013 to Whitman County and the Community Action Center to fund public service activities that principally benefit low and moderate income persons in Whitman County.

An overview of the proposed public services will be available for review at the Community Action Center, 350 SE Fairmont Road, Pullman, Washington on Monday, March 11, 2013 beginning at 9:00 a.m. or by calling (509) 334-9147.
