Palouse Cabin Fever Brew Fest granted parking lot use

Organizers for the first annual Cabin Fever Brew Fest in Palouse were granted permission to set up canopies and propane heaters in the Palouse Community Center parking lot for the Feb. 9 event. Community Center Board President Janet Barstow appeared at the Jan. 9 city council meeting seeking approval.

Since the lot is city property, the request required approval by the council. It passed unanimously.

The canopies and heaters will be set up in a fenced-in area in the parking lot.

The Cabin Fever Brew Fest will be a fundraiser for the Community Center, which has a 10-year mortgage to pay off....
