LaCrosse Market opens

Even though the opening was delayed for a week, LaCrosse Market operator Wendy Holliday said business has been steady.

The grocery store was due to open on Monday, Jan. 7, but suppliers didn’t deliver all the needed items, and Holliday delayed the store’s opening.

She said although it was quiet the first part of the morning when the store opened Monday, Jan.14, business picked up and remained steady the rest of the day. Tuesday was the same, she said, with customers coming in steadily all day.
