Moses Lake firm's paving bid $2-plus million under estimate

Bidding a price of more than $2 million below the estimate of the county engineer, Central Washington Paving of Moses Lake was the low bidder to repave 20.8 miles of Whitman County roads Monday.

Central’s bid of $3,965,323 was the lowest of six firms to bid on the projects, which were estimated by the county at a cost of $5,999,715.95.
