Jennifer Hauser named to replace Pearson on Colfax School Board

Jennifer Hauser was named Monday to take the Colfax School Board seat vacated by Debbie Pearson, who resigned in August after seven years. Hauser took the oath of office at Monday’s meeting and finished the meeting as the new representative for district five.

During a board interview, Hauser said her daughter’s experience in the Colfax schools inspired her to apply for appointment to the board.

“She’s had a lot of great opportunities here she otherwise wouldn’t have had if she wasn’t in the Colfax district,” Hauser said.
