Wednesday, a chinaman named Poy Lee, alias Charley Kyack, robbed Wah Lee, the washman better known in Colfax as Sam, of $573. Poy Moy at once skipped out and Sam telephoned to all the towns south of here to intercept the fugitive. Yesterday, H.H. Spaulding telephoned from Almota that Poy Moy hired a team from him Wednesday night to take him to Pomeroy and would there take the train to Walla Walla. Sheriff Berry at once wired the Garfield county sheriff to arrest him. Mr. Berry yesterday afternoon announced the fugitive had been captured in the hills near Pomeroy,...
