Caregiver seminar slated in Pullman

The Rural Resources Aging and Disability Resource Center Family Caregiver Support Program will present “If We Could See the Future,” a workshop for caregivers Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bishop Place in Pullman. The keynote address, “Finding Hope and Humor in Caregiving” will be delivered by Elaine Sanchez, author of “Letters from Madelyn,” “Chronicles of a Caregiver” and “The Home.”

Additional topics presented include caregiver 101 and self-care through massage.

The event is sponsored by Gritman Adult Day Health, Friends of Hospice, Family Home Care, Council on Aging and Human Services, Pritchett’s Muscle Therapy, Pullman Community Council on Aging and Pullman Regional Hospital.
