The Great Colfax Traffic Jam

Cars and trucks were backed up Main Street from Fairview north to JJ Building Supply Friday afternoon as construction crews limited traffic on Highway 195. Returning WSU students added to the Colfax traffic load with foosball tables and futons sticking out of the beds of pickup trucks. The line of cars quickly backed up in the 100 degree heat even when it was allowed to move south.
