DEER TAKE TOLL

Season F. Hollaway, 35, was unhurt July 4 when the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe she was driving collided with a deer on Highway 195 at mile 43.5 north of Colfax. According to the Washington State Patrol report, she was driving southbound at 12:50 a.m. when the deer jumped into the lane of traffic.

Eric Reichmuth, 50, Pullman, was unhurt Monday when the 1986 Mazda pickup he was driving on the Moscow-Pullman Highway collided with a deer at mile 9.75. The deer struck the left front fender of the pickup.
