Library sets concert tour at 14 sites

Traveling Light, a versatile music duo specializing in light jazz and pop favorites from Bothell, will be featured in Whitman County Library’s third annual summer concert series set to visit 14 towns during the last week in June. Vocalist Mary Michaelson and keyboardist Lou Lippman will perform music for children including traditional songs and activities at eight of the concerts as part of the regular summer reading program.

Also planned are six concerts for all ages. They will include light jazz and pop music classics.

The concert tour is made possible through proceeds from the Library Foundation’s Sequel in the stack auction and a matching grant from Washington Humanities.
