Trucker Magazine cites Rick Squibb

Rick Squibb of Tekoa, a driver for Western Distributing Transportation Corp. for the past seven years, was named by Wyoming Trucker magazine as driver of the quarter for the third quarter in 2011. The selections were announced in the first quarter edition of “The Wyoming Trucker.”

Squibb has driven 3.5 million miles without an accident. A commercial driver for 30 years, he now transports refrigerated commodities in a line haul operation for Western.

Squibb is a Mason and a member of the Whitman County Shrine Club. He is a former Tekoa Mayor, member of the city council, and past president of the Tekoa Community Fair association. He and his wife, Holly, have one child and one grandchild.
