Malden library support

Malden branch of the Whitman County Library offers 1,500 options with books, movies and music for all ages and tastes. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The library website also offers hundreds of useful links for information and entertainment.

Several local meetings are held each month in the Malden library. The town council meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

Malden Fence Menders, the booster club in Malden, meets at the library the first Thursday of every month at 10 a.m.

Residents can become a Friend of the Malden Library for $10 or by donating to the Malden children’s programs.
