Quartet sings at LaX tonight

LaCrosse Methodist Church will present a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. tonight, Dec. 15, performed by a men’s gospel quartet from Clarkston. Everyone is welcome.

David and Phyllis Stueckle spent four or five days relaxing at Lake Chelan with his brother, Reuben and Judy Stueckle of Puyallup, the first part of December. They took a side trip to Leavenworth and toured some of the back roads in the area.

Fran Maki, Vicki Broeckel and Lelia Zaring attended the LaCrosse Farm Women’s Club Christmas luncheon last week. It was hosted by Kathy Schlomer at her home near Winona.

Correction of last week’s issue: The Ministerial Association, which honored Floyd Overstreet for his 53 years in the ministry, also presented Judi Overstreet with a bouquet. She did not present a bouquet to her husband.
