ST. JOHN DRIVER HURT IN DEER CRASH

Darlene Seward, 63, St. John, sustained cuts and a bruised arm Monday night when the 2006 Buick Rendezvous she was driving struck a deer two miles south of Colfax on Highway 195. Seward was driving north at 5:57 p.m. when the deer jumped in front of the Buick, the Washington State Patrol report said.

Shaina Simonson, 18, Colfax, was unhurt Monday at 7:10 p.m. when the 2008 Chevrolet Aveo she was driving went into the ditch on the Walla Walla highway south of Dusty. She was driving northbound at 7:10 p.m. when the Aveo went onto the shoulder and she over-corrected....
