Fourteen earn all As at GP

Garfield/Palouse high school had 14 students earn 4.0 GPAs during the first term. Seniors Sarah Bofenkamp, Heidi Jamison, Melissa Johnson, Jeffrey Kent, Jonathan Kuehner and Mickaila Martin earned all-A grades for the first quarter. Also earning all-As were Branden McLouth, Cassie Thompson, juniors; Chandler Pfaff, sophomore; Jacob Arlt, Gabriel Cocking, Mitchell Jamison, Rachel Nelson,and Hunter Woltering, freshmen.

Students earning grade averages of 3.5 to 3.99 included Kaycie Adair, Emily Akin, Cory Bates, Nathan Cocking, Adrienne Hamilton, Jessie Hathaway, James Keller and Jesse Parkins, seniors; Holly Leendertsen, Wyatt Mitchell, Hannah Neibers, Zachary Reiber and Sarah Wilson, juniors; Ariel Hoffman, Kevin Knauff, Jesse Lopez, Katryna Newman, Taylor Redman, Kimberlee Schaub and Kathryn Yoder, sophomores; Elizabeth Akin, Sarah Bailey, Jedidiah Crossman, Emily Keeney, David Milano, Alexis Rodriguez and Joseph Wilcomb, freshmen.

Students with grade averages between 3.0 and 3.49 included Derrick Bosch, Delanie Linderman, Kelsye Lopez, Tyson Lowley and Rebecca Reeve, seniors; TJ Dill, Riley Hodges, and Kaynan Zachow, juniors; Blaise Anderson, Matthew Dymkoski and Sammie Johnson, sophomores; Brianna Shea, Karra Teare and McKenzie Wells, freshmen.

At Garfield/Palouse Middle School, Daniel Arlt, seventh grader and Daniel Orfe and Seth Thompson, sixth graders, earned all-A grades for the quarter. Other high honors students with grade averages of 3.5 or higher were Matt Holbrook, Riley Marcus and Rafferty Shelton, eighth grade; Logan Gorence, Tuli O’Neill and Michelle Thompson, seventh grade; Emily Baggot, Issac Nelon and Evan Weagraff, sixth grade.

Middle school students with grade averages of 3.0 to 3.49 included Holly Brown, Becca Cochran, Wyatt Griner, Sierra Hoffman, Ian Neiberg, Kent Nelson, Quentin Neumann and Zach Thompson, eighth grade; Erik Anderson, Bethany Loomis, and Ashley Swall, seventh grade; Payson Griner and Travis Knauff, sixth grade.
