Pullman Hospital to add robotic surgical system

Pullman Regional Hospital’s board of commissioners voted Nov. 2 to approve the purchase of the da Vinci Si surgical system. The purchase will be made in November and surgeries using the da Vinci robotic system are expected begin in December, according to Laura Winbzler, community relations officer.

Pullman Regional Hospital will be the first hospital in the region with this technology, which provides an alternative to both traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopy.
