Local robotics club to start next week

Palouse Area Robotics Team will hold an organizing meeting for all area students and residents interested in forming a multi-school team.

Organizer Dave Tharp said the goal is to assemble a team that will build a robot to compete in robot battles sponsored by the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology foundation of Manchester, N.H.

Tharp said he is looking for students from schools all around the county who are interested in the science and technology involved in putting together a robot.
