A full day of festivities is planned for the grand opening of the Forever Free Lincoln Exhibit at the Colfax Branch Library next Thursday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 3:45 p.m.

A special children’s history program is at 1 p.m. for kids with an appearance by Honest Abe himself. All American treats will be served.

Give the gift of life at the Colfax Library on Tuesday, August 30 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. by donating blood. Schedule appointments at the library or online www.inbc saves.org. Priority will be given to those with pre-scheduled appointments.
