Bridge shows stress of walkway sag

The Highway 26 entry bridge into Colfax begins to show signs of stress from the sagging walkway on its west side. State Department of Transportation crews have blocked off the sidewalk. Inspectors checked out the main supports of the bridge and determined they have not been impacted by the sag in the cantilevered sidewalk structure which was built out from the main bridge.
