Tekoa’s Slippery Gulch festival this weekend, June 17-19, will mix in several new events.
Melinda Wilkins, co-chair of the festival, said Monday she has her fingers crossed for good weather.
The Fishing Derby on Hangman Creek runs all week.
The adult dance will be at 9 p.m. Friday night at the Headley Building.
Tekoa Chamber of Commerce breakfast will be Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at the high school and the Fun Run will start at the high school at 8 a.m.
The grand parade will begin at 11 a.m. downtown, with the usual array of colorful, spirited entries.
