Three lead Colton class of 2011

Mikayla Marie Nygreen, left, and Margaret Anne Weber, middle, have been named co-valedictorians of the Colton High School class of 2011. Mikayla, daughter of Kim and Keith Nygreen, has served at Colton’s student body president, FFA vice-president, and National Honor Society president. A Colton Junior Miss, she played on the Wildcats volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. She plans to study dietetics at Arizona State University.

Margaret, daughter of Mimi and Pat Weber, served as senior class president and was a member of the National Honor Society member and FFA. She was event director of the Washington State High School Rodeo Association and a voting delegate for the National High School Rodeo Association. She is a three-time qualifier for the nationals and placed second in state breakaway roping. She plans to study landscape architecture at Texas A & M University.

Steven Joseph Eacker, right, Colton salutatorian, served as vice president of the student body and played on Wildcat football and basketball teams. He was a member of Honor Society and jazz band and did volunteer work for book exchanges and blood drive. He plans to study business communications at Arizona State University. He is the son of Kris Eacker and Joe Eacker.
