Four lead Colfax High School class of 2011

Colfax has named three valedictorians for the class of 2011.

Kyle Largent, son of Brian and Debbie Largent, was involved with four different sports, drama performances, competitive choir, National Honor Society, FFA and ASB. He was also involved in his church youth group and works at Subway.

Largent has been involved in FFA all four years of high school and next year will serve as the Washington FFA Secretary.

Co-valedictorian Meigan Wall, daughter of Marilyn and Adrian Wall of Colfax, was very involved with the CHS chapters of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and National Honor Society.

She served as president of both organizations this year.

She plans to attend Spokane Falls Community College next year and then transfer to a four-year school.

Valedictorian Brooke Webber, daughter of Jon and Angie Webber of Colfax, was actively involved in her church youth group, ASB, National Honor Society, varsity volleyball, basketball and softball and in FFA. Brooke plans to attend Seattle Pacific University where she will study to become a pharmacist.

Salutatorian Alex Teade, son of Steve and Julie Teade, will attend Eastern Washington University and pursue a degree in engineering.

Alex was a member of National Honor Society and Peace Lutheran Church youth group.

He played on Colfax football, basketball and baseball teams and plans to also play football for EWU.
