Kliewer, Gaines lead Tekoa class

Margeaux Kliewer, right, daughter of Tom and Connie Kliewer, will be valedictorian of the 2011 Tekoa High School school class with a 3.975 grade average.

She helped coordinate the FCCLA lock-in, painted the Nighthawk mascot in the school hallway and the carousel in Ruhl Park and participated in the National Honor Society roadside clean-up.

She plans to attend the Cornish School of Arts in Seattle.
