Five county schools receive achievement awards for 2010

Five schools in Whitman County were chosen for 2010 Washington Achievement awards by the state’s Office of Superintendent Department.

For overall excellence, St. John Elementary, LaCrosse Elementary and Colton School were named.

For the award in extended graduation rates, Palouse High School, St. John/ Endicott High School and Colton High schools were recognized.
