Caregiver classes will begin March 23

A six session educational series designed to provide caregivers with tools they need to take care of themselves will begin March 23 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Whitman County Library branch in Colfax.

This program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

Two experienced class leaders will conduct the weekly series. A donation of $25 to help defray the cost of the book is suggested but not required.

Participants will receive The Caregiver Helpbook, developed specifically for the class.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Contact the Council on Aging & Human Services for more information.
