Dusty residents greet new year

Carol Kyllo spent Christmas in Spokane with her daughter’s family, Tami and Wayne Haas and children. They were joined on Christmas Day by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Penny Kyllo. She spent New Year’s Eve at a party at the home of Penny and Jerry Gilchrist.

Larry and Di Brink were New Year’s Eve dinner guests of Don and Carol Keeney, LaCrosse, along with the Keeney’s eldest son’s family, Jeff, Sharee and Wyatt Keeney from Idaho. The Brinks were at the Lucky and Joan Myrick home New Year’s Day.

Kurt and Jill Reddig and Savannah of Dusty were in Kailspell, Mont., at the home of his parents, Billy and Lynne Reddig, for Christmas. They returned home last Thursday. Their return was delayed one day by adverse weather conditions.

David and Phyllis Stueckle celebrated Christmas Dec. 28 at their family home. Ten members and guests from their son Doug and Cheryl’s family Coeur d’Alene, attended, including their sons Jonathan, who is in the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, and Nathan who resides in San Antonio, Texas, and six members of daughter Karen and Larry Light’s family.

Dusty B.B. Club will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the LaCrosse Catholic Church’s parish hall to make baby blankets for the maternity clinic at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Diane Monson and Janell Guske are hostesses. Roll call is to bring donations for the food bank. Lunch will be served.
