Letters to Santa - Dec. 16, 2010

Jolly old St. Nicholas may be leaning his ear to these letters from a class of Palouse kindergarteners. Eighteen students in Mrs. Bofenkamp’s class at Palouse Elementary School came up with their very own lists of Christmas wishes.

Older students then wrote out the student letters.

Dear Santa,

My name is Ava. I would like a toy unicorn pillow pet and a Barbie. My brother would like a frog Pillow pet and an easy bake oven. Is it cold in the North Pole? Do you like where you live? How are your elves doing making toys? Are there eight reindeer?

Dear Santa,

I want to know how Rudolph is Doing. I like that you wear a lot of red. My name is Aidan and I am 6 years old. I would like an Ironman mask, Ironman blasters, a thingy next to your heart, a hot wheels track and cars, transformers and a Lego factory. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I am Andy and I’m 5 years old. What do you like to do? I would like moon sand, Monopoly, a slinky, X-box 360 and a hamster. I like Christmas!

My name is Zoe. I am 5 years old. I would like for Christmas a snow globe with pretend snow and Santa, his sleigh and his reindeer and a kitten stuffed animal and a new ballet dress with a skirt on it and I want my family to be happy every day.

It is Kendra. I would like some stuffed animals, some jewelry, a microphone, a blow up swimming pool and a pretty dress. How many reindeer do you have? Has Rudolph’s nose stopped working? What happens if you come down the chimney and the fire is still going?

My name is Alexa and I’m 6 years old. I want Barbie dolls, a stuffed horse, a new pink dress, a book on mermaids, and new tennis shoes. I want to know some things. Do the reindeer have to stay in the barn when the roads don’t have snow on them? Is Rudolph smart? What do you do when it is not this time of the year? How much presents do you make? Do you like Christmas? Do you have a Christmas tree? Do you think you could bring something for my family? Merry Christmas!

My name is Spencer. I want a game boy and a wolverine action figure. I want a halo reach also. How is it in the North Pole? How are your elves doing? How bright is Rudolph’s nose shinning? I also want to know what states you deliver presents to. I want to know how much snow there is there. How is Mrs. Claus doing? How big is your sleigh? How many presents did your elves make this year? Do you help make presents? Is it hard to keep track of all the names on the good and bad list? I have a couple more things I want for Christmas. I want the Lego star wars video game and a turbo tank.

Do you like Cocoa and do you like marshmallows in the cocoa? What’s your favorite video game?
