American FFA honoree

Tekoa’s Jordyn Hutton received the American FFA degree at the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis Oct. 23. It is the highest degree awarded by the National FFA Organziation. The award recognizes Jordyn’s leadership abilities and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing and service programs. Less than one percent of FFA members advance through their local chapters and their state FFA program. The daughter of Dan and Kathy Hutton of Tekoa, Jordyn is a sophmore at Washington State University. She is the second recipient of the American degree from Tekoa.
