Awesome

The banks did an awesome job decorating the corners of Main Street this year. Every corner was remarkable. It made it very hard to choose the winner, but we hope you all had fun. In our eyes you were all winners. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your corners, and welcome you aboard.

What a wonderful way to kick off the 2010 Hullabaloo. We hope everyone will come and enjoy this year’s event. Great job. our town looks beautiful.

Phyllis Kincaid, Hullabaloo Committee

Speed limit

The speed limit on our county road was raised to fifty miles per hour. For these washboarding roads that seems to be too much. There’s been two wrecks on the South Palouse River Road the past two weeks. Speed seems to be the problem. You never see a police officer on these washboarding roads. Nothing will be done until somebody gets killed.

We also have a problem of motorcycles spinning broadies and tearing up the road. Why not put the speed limit back to 35 and enforce it, or pave the roads.

Evelyn McLain, Palouse
