School retirees award scholarship

The Whitman County School Retirees, along with active teacher members, recently awarded Lauren Forsell, granddaughter of member Dolma Christensen, a $1,000 scholarship for her studies. Lauren is attending WSU and will use this scholarship to pursue her degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.

This scholarship is awarded yearly to a student who has completed at least one year in education-related college classes.
