Hammer to buy local coffee stands

Local caffeinistas will soon be sipping a new brew.

Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters of Spokane is purchasing four of the five Daily Grind coffee stands in Colfax and Pullman. Conversion to the Thomas Hammer brand is expected to begin next month.

Charlene Jasper, owner of the Daily Grind franchise, told the Gazette last week she is looking forward to taking a break from her jittery job although the sale has not yet been finalized.
