Fair premium books out

LaCrosse

Palouse Empire Fair premium books are now available. Residents can pick up a copy at the Bank of Whitman in LaCrosse. Anyone interested in purchasing wristbands for the fair can contact Taylor Weekes or Hillary Bennett. The cost is $15 for adults and $5 for youths.

Donation jars are available in town for the Honor Flight. Tollie Wise would like to participate in this very worthwhile program. World War II vets can fly back to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII Memorial. The Veterans trip is free but the escorts must pay their way.

LaCrosse All-Purpose 4H Club has sweatshirts for sale. They are brown with a green 4H clover on the front with LaCrosse All-Purpose 4-H written in cream around the clover. Sweatshirts can be personalized on the back in cream for an additional $4. Youth sizes S-XL are $25. Adult sizes S-XL are $35. Orders must be submitted and paid for by Aug. 15 to Stacy Aune.

Tim and Debbie Stamper returned from Redondo Beach after visiting their daughter and husband, Danielle and Braidy Halverson. Braidy was participating in the AVP Tournament at Hermosa Beach and the family was able to watch Braidy compete in the doubles of professional beach volleyball. Darcy Stamper stayed in California to spend the week with his sister.

Alison Bryan is here to visit her parents, Pete and Peggy Bryan. Alison will return soon to Prague where she is a teacher. She has been visiting friends and family during her visit home.
