Pullman police report heist

Pullman police, July 15, reported theft of more than $400 from an unlocked safe in the back room of Keasal’s Chevron in downtown Pullman. Two women entered the station at about 10:24 p.m. Wednesday and one distracted the attendant while the other one went into the back room and took the cash from the open safe.

The police report said the two departed in an older dark blue or black Isuzu Trooper on Highway 270 headed for Moscow. A witness estimated the suspects were each about 5-6 and weighed 200 pounds.

Anyone with information identifying the suspects is asked to call Detective Bill Osborn or Detective Greg Umbright at Pullman.
