Three hurt in Tahoe roll

Three Maryland women were hurt early July 1 in a rollover accident on Highway 26 about three miles west of Colfax. They were transported by ambulances to Whitman Hospital for a checkup.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, Cynthia M. Johnson, 50, Fort Washington, Md., was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound about 4:50 a.m. and swerved to miss a deer. The Tahoe went onto the shoulder of the highway and rolled.

Johnson sustained head and neck injuries. Mable Edwards, 56, Suitland, Md., complained of neck and back pain, and Brenda Able-Williams, 51, Cedar Heights, Md., complained of head and neck injuries.
