Tepees among the pines along the Palouse River

Participants in the 19th annual Palouse Hills Muzzleloaders Rendezvous this year at the Kenedy place along Manning Road provided a time warp when they erected their tepees along the banks of the Palouse River. The weekend event drew approximately 200 competitors from around the area.

Pictured are Stacy Watts, Diane Kenedy, Lowell and Marian Kenedy of Vancouver. Lowell Kenedy was raised at the Kenedy ranch and also was here to attend his 60-year class reunion.

Dirck DeWitt of Colfax, takes aim for the pistol shooting competition.
