Garfield schoolmates gather

A potluck lunch and visiting were enjoyed by schoolmates who gathered at Garfield Christian Fellowship Church in Garfield Tuesday, June 1.

Attending were Rose Marie Perkins Harlan, Sunburst, Mont.; Mary Jo Giles lszler, Cut Bank, Mont.; Sam and Cheryl Haun, Stevenson; Walter and Kay Tribbeft Taylor, Renton; Bob and Sharon Schuman, Salem, Ore.; June Curtis Sharp, Oakesdale; Frank and Karen Walker, Cheney; John Dailey, Farmington; Dot Perkins Bugh, Moscow; Jim and Suzanne Watson Babb, Coeur d’Alene; Anne Williams Vannice, Colville.

Attending from Spokane were Marcella Adams McAdams, Charlotte Woodworth Carpenter, Patty Carpenter Acosta, Jana Bryne Moore and Dale Shook Schmook.

Those attending from Garfield were Roy Hanson, Bernie Cochran, Norma Copner Lewis, Cathie Shook May, Carol King MacPherson, Norman and Darlene Peterson Perkins, Judy Byrne Stern, Donna Opstrup Wride, Lynda Byrne Slocum, Margaret Akin Pfaff, J. T. Mc Adams, Max and Joan Merrill, Texas Neal, Dixie Dailey Roach, Mahlon E. Kriebel, Jim Perkins, Ruby Perkins, Don Kriebel, Mary Ann Harlan Delzer, Hollis and Helen Jamison, Cheryle Curtis and Sue Hathaway Ulrick.

Mary Jo Iszler and Rose Marie Harlan spent a week in Garfield visiting relatives and friends. Mary Jo stayed with friends, Lynda and Bill Slocum, and Rose Marie stayed with her mother Ruby Perkins. Dorothy Kjeldahl of Cut Bank also traveled with them and visited family in Pullman.
