Eddie Thompson was on the injured list with at pulled muscle sustained during practice. Norma won a gold medal in the 100 meter walk and a silver in the shot put. World Famous comedian Leif Skeiving arrived in the Town of LaCrosse Saturday night with his guitar and harmonica in tow. With more than 100 residents present after the LaCrosse Community Pride sponsored dinner eagerly awaiting, Leif, also known as the “funny Swede,” proceeded to wow the audience and kept them laughing for the entire hour.

To cap the evening off, Leif played a “Scottish tribute” to the US National Anthem with his harmonica. Producing a bright red balloon, blowing it up to full capacity, he proceeded to attach it to the low note on the harmonica while playing the national anthem on the upper notes of the harmonica, with replicated sounds of the bag pipes. Fitting enough, at the end he concluded by saying “McGregor tribute to America” as Alex and Linda McGregor were seen laughing during this rendition. Look for this comedian to return in the early fall for another fun, laugh filled evening in Lacrosse.
