Jason Swannack earns EWU Killin scholarship

Jason Swannack of Lamont, has been awarded a $6,000 Orland and Bernice Killin scholarship at Eastern Washington University. The award is given to an incoming freshman with a 4.0 grade average who demonstrates scholastic and academic excellence. Swannack will graduate from St. John-Endicott High School this spring. He was the yearbook editor and a member of LAN, chess club as well as NHS. He was also on the track and cross country teams and a member of jazz band. The son of David and Leslie Swannack of Lamont, he plans to study computer science at EWU next year
