SJE to host its first art walk

The St. John gymnasium will be full of the artwork of St. John and Endicott students next Monday as the school hosts its first ever art walk.

“It will be just like an art walk in an official gallery,” said Art teacher Mary Bertrand.

Students will be dressed up and a full compliment of refreshments will be served.

Bertrand came up with the event as a way to preview the works of her 31 high school art students before the town’s annual stock show. Many of the works featured in Monday’s art walk will also be entered in the stock show, she said.
