‘We are the champions, again’

Colfax girls Saturday night lined up under the special lighting of the Spokane Arena before their chamionship game with the LaSalle Lightning in the state 2B tournament. Each team ran a 3-0 mark over the first three days of the Spokane show before going into the championship round, the last of 52 games in the area. After the lights came back and the refs put the ball in play, the Bulldogs ripped to a 14 point lead in the first quarter on the way to a 52-43 title win to bring the big trophy back to Colfax.
