Hospital honors employees

Whitman Hospital announced their manager and employee of the year and honored other staff members at their annual luncheon held at Hill-Ray Plaza Jan. 27. Ronda Warren, was named manager of the year, and Robyn Tramposch was named employee of the year.

Warren joined the hospital staff in 2000 as an RN and was promoted to manager of the medical/surgical and labor/delivery units in 2008.

Tramposch, a physical therapist, has been at the hospital since 2007. She was credited with doing many extra services for patients outside of her regular job duties.

Employee of the quarter plaques were presented to 2009 winners Karen Blomgren, RN; Katherine Higgins, RN; Diane Smith, medical records; Stephen Greenhalgh, maintenance mechanic and Joy McNaughton, business office clerk.

Award pins for 25 years of service were given to Julie Sevedge, business office manager; Audie Guidi, food service manager; Carolyn Wilson, radiologic technologist and Jill Morgan, RN.

Dorcy Chenard, RN, assistant chief clinical officer, was recognized for 20 years.

Ten-year pins went to Tina Lowe, fiscal technician and Denise Huber, aquatics instructor, and 15-year awards went to Ruth Heisler, dietary cook; Beth Asbjornsen, business office clerk and Jerry Stroup, housekeeper.

Five-year service award pins went to Pat Downey-Eagan, medical technologist; Jessica Loftus, phlebotomist; Nancy Deobald, phlebotomist; Julie Stolz, nursing assistant; John Harding, RN; Cristin Capwell, H.R. assistant; Scott Pierson, pharmacist; Margie Stansbury, respiratory therapist; Chris Ellis, nursing assistant; Heather Reathaford, laboratory manager; Wayne Roberson, RN; Tricia Hinnenkamp, biller and Matt Scholz, lifeguard.

Emcee was David Womack, new hospital CEO. Jon Davis, previous administrator; Martin Marler, new board chairman and Steve Moore, board member, attended. Davis presented Moore with a plaque for his year as board president for 2009.
