Foundation benefit offers many items

Whitman Community Hospital Foundation is preparing for its upcoming gourmet dinner and auction which will be next Saturday, Jan. 30, 6 p.m. at Hill-Ray Plaza.

A number of unique items will be featured.

Eddie Maillot, rehab services manager at the hospital, is offering an adventure and treasure hunt for 8 to 10 people. It is an all-day adventure, which he has previously planned for his wife Sydney’s birthday each year.

Phyllis Kincaid has donated a hand-pieced quilt which she made in shades of brown, beige, country red and green.

Dr. Mark Parsons and Kimberly Thompson are offering the use of their home on Lake Pend’ Oreille, and Abbot Adrian Parcher’s gourmet dinner for six will also be in the live auction.

Memorable Events will host a birthday party for ten, and Gary and Trudy Libey are giving an antique quilt made by Gary’s grandmother.
