Light: We don’t really understand just how important light is until we don’t have it. Even at night, it is never totally dark for us. We even try to escape light sometimes so that we can better see the stars, and it’s very hard to do, even around here. There are lights and light residue everywhere ... until the electricity goes out – at night – and then we get a glimmer of how important light was to our ancestors.
