Colfax Christmas tree goes up

Eric Jones of Jones Truck and Implement used the company’s hoist truck to put the Colfax Community Christmas tree in place at the U.S. Bank lot. Jones estimated the tree weighed over a ton. Martin and Linda Marler of Colfax donated the Blue Spruce to the Chamber of Commerce. The 22-foot tree was transported to the bank lot by Huber Action Freight. The Chamber’s Christmas Parade and fireworks show have been scheduled for Dec. 3 this year on Mill Street....
