Dracula, WSU’s Jones Theater in Daggy Hall, Oct. 29-31 at 7:30 p.m. Students Jason Keene of Camas and Syleanna Campbell of Auburn play the lead roles of Count Dracula and Mina. Tickets: $15 general admission, $10 for age 65 and over and for WSU students, $5 for 17 and under. Daggy Hall box office will open 2-5:20 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, during weeks of performance and an hour before curtain time.

Throughout the renovation of the Colfax Branch, new items will continually be added to the library’s collection for circulation in all fourteen Whitman County Library locations. Recently, artists like Cage the Elephant, Cascada, Demi Lavato, Miley Cyrus, and Brooks and Dunn, have been added. If you are looking for specific movies, music or books, contact the library to place your request at 397-4366 or toll-free at 877-733-3375.

Are you looking for inexpensive ways to entertain your little ones? Whitman County Library suggests visiting the county’s 14 library locations to participate in their children’s programs. Every program is different and you can obtain a countywide schedule by simply visiting the library’s website at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Children’s Storytime programs in Colfax are each Thursday with Baby Time for ages 0-2 years from 10:10-10:30, Toddler Time for ages 2-3 from 10:30-11:00 and Preschool Time for ages 4 and up from 11-11:30.

Friday’s are Play and Learn Day for infants, toddlers, young children and those who care for them. Attendees can stay for all or part of the program from 10-11:30 in the library’s future site behind the US Bank Building.

All branches of Whitman County Library will close November 11 in observance of Veteran’s Day.
